James is a courier on the space cargo vessel Ender. He is asked to transport a container by a suspicious merchant. While transporting the shipment, the Ender is attacked by a mysterious man. The contents of the container turn out to be the Orbital Frame Dolores. And in its memory is recorded a message from James’s wife who was supposed to have died on Mars.
