In Restoration Year 107, humanoid meteorite disposal heavy machines -iDOLs- protect the Earth from falling fragments of the moon called Drops. And the only ones who can control the iDOLs are specially chosen girls — Idolmasters. Their mission, besides going to school every day, is to pilot their iDOLs, and shatter the meteorites falling to the Earth outside the atmosphere.
