Hayato won the World Grand Prix for the fourth time in 2021. Kaga, as he saw the race with his fellow drivers, realizes his competitive spirit against Hayato is growing. He impatiently returns to Japan, irritated by the mechanical disadvantages he’s facing. In the opening game in 2022, Kaga has to enter with an outdated machine because his new machine development proposal had been rejected earlier. Kaga desperately needs a higher performance machine to even have a chance against Hayato.
